About Us, Our Business Model
& A Message from the Owner
Thank you for choosing Shutter & Strobe Imaging!
Hello future and current clientele! My name is Jamison, and I am the owner of Shutter & Strobe Imaging! Since the age of 17 I have been a photographer and have also started in the fascinating world processing film, and from then on, the passion has become a blazing fire! I have worked in the photographic industry almost all of my "working" life, photographing, processing both films and papers, cross processing films, making emulsion, coating plates, mixing chemicals from scratch, and much more!

When you choose to have us handle your photographic needs, you are choosing passion, years of experience, and knowledge over a half-trained technician. I have helped train future photographers and have also taught, trained, and guided many more in analog photography.

Since before the last minilab shut down in town, I have wanted to provide quality, professional film processing that is local to the general public, as well as our wonderful customers abroad, instead of just those who knew about me. And not just local, I wanted affordable in the mix, as well. I found it hard to pay mega money just for processing for a roll of film. After all, how do you keep art alive in a city when you remove its life support? Then I came up with a game plan. Offer what people are wanting now: digital files with an option of prints. And that has been the basis of the business, working absolutely wonderfully for our customers!

When you choose Shutter and Strobe, you are choosing 11 years of experience in this business!

With all that being said, I want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to get to know a little about myself and my business model. I know you will find what you are looking for here, because if not, we will try our best to make your vision happen!
